Right now I'm furiously trying to finish "The Beasts of Kay-7" in time for Stumptown. I have about ten (full color) pages to go. In the midst of that project, I'm also planning the next one, which will be much longer (probably released in four 30ish-page increments). Above is a rough layout of the first three pages and a sketch of the main character. While working on the story and characters, and pretty much any of the preliminary stuff, I listen to a lot of music. I've developed a playlist I use that sort of fits the mood of the comic. It's set in the Mesolithic (pre-farming) and the music seems to reflect that in a way. It's hours of mostly ambient stuff, but I thought I'd include a sampling of some representative songs below.

Hello. And Bye.

Dude that art looks so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Good play list! Glow Pt 2 is my fave song of same titled album! They did a basement show here in Spfd recently! I almost pissed myself. Was able to score Glow Pt 2 on vinyl
Thanks Jordan. I'm a big Microphones/Mt. Eerie fan too. I find his entire catalog pretty inspiring, especially for the River Rock project. I envy your vinyl acquisition, too.
