Let's Watch Star Trek!

My brother Sam and I are starting a website called Let's Watch Star Trek. I'll be putting up comics like this, along with Trek related drawings every week. There are some great contributing artists coming up as well. In addition to the drawings there are episode reviews, lists, and discussions about all things Trek. Inkstuds Interview

I did an interview for the Inkstuds podcast, and it was a lot of fun. If you're curious about the music (sometimes I am when I listen to Inkstuds) the first song is called Unicorn in Uniform by Connan Mockasin from their album Forever Dolphin Love. The last song is Lay My Love from the album Wrong Way Up by Brian Eno and John Cale.

Prophet #24 Out Now!

Matt Sheean and I have a five page comic called Shock Post in the new issue of Prophet, which comes out today. We're really proud of this one, and look forward to doing more comics for Prophet in the future.

Prophet #24

If you're a fan of science fiction comics, then you should be reading Brandon Graham and Simon Roy's Prophet series coming out from Image. I think the series has been fantastic so far, so I'm really honored to contribute a five page back-up story in next months issue (#24) that I did with Matt Sheean. Matt and I collaborated on every level of this story, from the concept to the layouts through to the colors, and we're very pleased with the outcome, which you can see the first page of above. So pick up Prophet #24 in April!

I've been working non-stop to finish Real Life, a 29 page stand alone story for my new series called Ritual. I'm really excited for this project!

Wages of Fear Commission

I recently finished this commission based on Clouzot's The Wages of Fear. It was a lot of fun revisiting the movie.

Sea Cave / Zine Fest

I'll have this new 11x14 print debuting at the L.A. Zine Fest tomorrow! The fest goes from 11-5 above the Last Bookstore at 453 S. Spring Street. Stop by table 70 to check it (and all my other junk) out.

Comics Reading!

I'll be participating in the L.A. Zinefest Reading on Saturday. It gets started at 9pm. Also, the next day I'll have a table at L.A. Zinefest. I'll have some rare/new treats to peddle to the public. Of course, many great cartoonists and zinesters (are they called that?) will be reading and tabling at both events. Check out that lineup!

Expansion Part Four! Turner's loose!

Ritual #1

So that "Sneak Peak" I posted a few days ago was from the first issue of Ritual, my new comic being published by Revival House Press. Each issue will be a stand alone story, the first of which is called Real Life, and is a horror story of sorts. It's set in the present day, in a kind of average town, which is new for me.

...And don't worry, I know I've been talking about a lot of new projects recently, (and there are still some more to come soon) but Expansion Part 4 is still happening and on its way. I'll post up some images in the coming week.
