Chuck - for a long time I used a Winsor & Newton Round #3 brush and liked it just fine. About three months ago I switched to a Japanese brush pen that I don't really know the name of, because all the writing is in Japanese. The only place I've seen them is at Kinokuniya in Little Tokyo. Up until that point I've hated all the other brush pens I had used, but I'm completely converted to these Japanese ones.
Tim - Thanks! I love Sam Hiti's work. I'm looking forward to his next comic.
again. Wow.
ReplyDeletePreliminary? Looks finished to me. You should sell this on Etsy. Best yet, I look forward to seeing the final drawing.
ReplyDeletePreliminary in the character's design, I should say.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a great piece!
ReplyDeleteI may have asked you this before, but do you use a brush to ink? If so, what size?
ReplyDeleteAh, I see... sorry.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Your stuff reminds me a bit of Sam Hiti's.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, everyone!
